Think About Winter Home Buying in Rocklin

Think About Winter Home Buying in Rocklin  Rocklin home buying winter

As we head into winter, in all its chilly temperatures and holiday glory,  it seems like buying a new home in Rocklin is the furthest thing from anyone's mind.  As a Rocklin real estate agent for the last 16 years, I've seen my winter home buying clients score some of the BEST deals around.  Winter, my friends, is actually the best time to buy a home in Rocklin!

Spring home buying is all about a heard mentality.  Everyone else is looking for homes, checking out open houses, and getting excited about moving.  There lies the problem: EVERYONE ELSE.  There is so much competition in the Spring that buyers are getting in bidding wars, driving prices higher, and making Rocklin home sellers very happy.  Spring home buyers often ending up paying more than they want and/or settling for a house that isn't everything they were looking for, just because the competition is so steep.

Now take the Rocklin home buying in November-January.  While EVERYONE ELSE is in a winter wonderland, winter home buyers have more choice, less competition, and more time to make a good decision without being forced to be hasty.  Plus, interest rates are forcasted to go up in 2015, and that alone is a good reason to at least start looking now.

My winter home buying clients usually end up being the happiest, grabbing a great house, and paying a fair price.  Let's get looking!
